A Whalebuy Spreadsheet is a product catalogue you browse, where each card carries a photo, the seller's yuan price and a way through to the listing, grouped so you can find something worth ordering through the Whalebuy buying service. Most catalogues group by category. This one groups by the conditions you will wear the thing in, because that is how most of us actually shop. Nobody wakes up wanting "outerwear"; they wake up to rain.
Sorting by weather also changes what we write on each card. A fleece hoodie and a linen dress do not fail in the same way. The hoodie goes wrong in the parcel, where its bulk turns a 2.6 kg box into a 6.3 kg bill. The dress goes wrong in the option menu, where one "colour" turned out to be a wholesale price for 500 pieces. Each shelf page lists the failure points that belong to its weather.

Whalebuy ordering, from forecast to front step
Whalebuy purchases from Taobao, 1688 and Weidian for you, takes delivery in its Chinese warehouse, photographs everything, and then ships whatever you bundle into one parcel. Payment comes in two rounds: the goods and the seller's domestic delivery first, then freight once the parcel is ready. The full walk-through, with official screenshots, is on the ordering guide.

Parcel forecast for bulky winter boxes
Our October 24, 2026 estimator comparison used four parcel shapes across ten destinations. One winter example weighed 2.6 kg in either carton: loose at 50 × 40 × 25 cm, or compressed at 40 × 30 × 12 cm. The loose carton was billed by volume on most returned lines, around 6.3 kg. Compare those two profiles in the parcel forecast, then confirm whether your actual goods can tolerate compression; protecting the item still matters.
To the United States the gap was widest: the economy lines refused the loose carton and the lowest line left, a UPS-based service with duties payable by the recipient, quoted USD 241.88 against USD 79.08 for the compressed box. Whalebuy QC for rainwear, winter layers and summer gear
Whalebuy’s free photo set helps check the received option, colour and visible condition. For rainwear, ask to see the seam tape; for winter padding, read the fill label; for a small fan, check the battery label before choosing a route. These views still cannot prove waterproofing, warmth or electrical performance. The weather-specific QC checklist separates visible checks from questions that need more evidence.
What a Whalebuy parcel costs in a cold month
Whalebuy does not add a percentage service fee on goods. The bill is the item price with the seller's domestic delivery, a customs declaration fee that the official fee page puts at around CNY 8 per parcel, and the freight line you choose. Optional extras carry their own prices: CNY 20 for a rehearsal packing that weighs the parcel before you commit, CNY 5 for two pictures of the packed parcel, one open and one sealed.
Winter is where freight dominates. In our sample, three dry-cold items costing CNY 112 together, assumed to pack down to a 2.6 kg compressed box, drew a USD 53.00 freight quote to Germany, and roughly double that when left loose. Details on the costs page.
Why Whalebuy, and why the shelves follow the weather
All China buying agents share one routine: purchase, take delivery, photograph, dispatch. What separates Whalebuy is a public estimator anyone can use without logging in, a 1688 search inside its own site, and a list of packing services that includes a vacuum bag and a moisture barrier bag, both of which matter more to a weather-sorted buyer than to most.
