Wind turns a mild day raw and strips heat from anything loose. These seven finds were picked for closures and fit, and they travel light enough to ride along in a heavier parcel.
Seven listings for windy shoulder seasons. The theme is staying put: hoods that cinch, a cap with a strap, a sling that hugs the body, a gaiter that seals the neck.

The fleece-lined version sits in the same colour menu at five yuan more. Pick the lined one for gusty winters, the plain one for breezy autumn.

Twelve adult and twelve children's versions share one colour menu. Adult codes begin CR, children's begin RT.

A curved brim with a snug strap stays on in a breeze better than a bucket shape. The seller offers embroidery, so blank stock is the default.

The title says Oxford cloth and the material field says PU. Either way a body-hugging sling stays put in wind better than a tote.

The listing claims 100 per cent merino. We cannot test that from here; a detail photo of the fibre label is the only check available before shipping.

Grey is the featured colour. The menu also includes "white vest top (not see-through)", which is a separate camisole, not a cardigan colour.
Windproof is the claim sellers make most easily, because almost any tightly woven synthetic stops a breeze. The real questions are fit and closure. A windbreaker needs a hood with a drawcord, cuffs that close and a hem that cinches; without those, wind gets in underneath however good the fabric is. Our windbreaker lists all three in its photos; its water figures disagree with each other, so we file it under gusts rather than rain.
For knitwear, wind is the enemy of loose gauges. The merino scarf claims 100 per cent merino at CNY 70, which we cannot check from here. Merino is soft but not windproof; layered under a shell collar it works well, worn alone on a gusty pier it will not.

In the inspection photos, look at the hardware. Drawcord ends and toggles on the windbreaker hood and hem, the adjuster on the cap, the buckle on the sling bag. The sling comes with a standard clip or, for three yuan more, a magnetic buckle; ask for a photo of whichever you chose, closed and open.
The gaiter and the cardigan share a menu trap. The gaiter's colour menu holds twelve adult and twelve children's versions, with codes beginning CR for adults and RT for children. The cardigan's menu includes a white camisole sold as if it were a colour. Both sellers also set a minimum of two pieces.

Gust items are light to middling: a windbreaker, a cap and a gaiter weigh well under a kilogram together. That makes them good passengers in another reading's parcel. Add them to a downpour box in autumn or a dry-cold box in winter and they barely move the price.
The exception is the heavyweight sweatpants if you pick the fleece-lined version, which belong with the dry-cold bulk. Whalebuy holds stocked goods free for 90 days, so you can buy gust items when you see them and ship them with the next heavier parcel. Past day 60 you can extend storage for CNY 10 a month per product, to a maximum stay of six months.
